Well I finally took the plunge after Fandingbat put this on his list considering he didn’t like Blurryface. Not bad, but certainly still not one of my favs of the year.

they sound depressed as hell on this record

that said, the production and tones are pretty tight

The take here in the review is pretty accurate from what I experienced. Disliked MCR growing up just because of their fans and my refusal to listen to them as a result. I really dug TOP and used to see them every time they came through columbus, but then when blurry face dropped, I went to see them and the whole demographic had changed and made me disinterested to the point where I have actually never listened to this album. Might give it a go sometime.
