I don't hear it in my pre-release copy, but it's not easy cause of the sustained synth tones and various instruments and layers going on. It's not all the time right? Anamnesis Park is totally silent at the beginning for me.

Yeah, I remeber that it wasn't always there. If I remember correctly, the first time it appeared was close to the end Anamnesis Park.

great album but I had this at a 5 at first, and it grew off me pretty hard comparatively. still think 'plastic house on base of sky' is toby's best work in recent years.

I like just a tad more than Plastic but that one is amazing too.

Honestly, after listening to this more and more, I don't like 470 Nanometers. It's one of my two main problems with this album, the other one is Bellavia, but I still like the piece where she sings... Kind of, maybe not really.

I enjoyed my initial stint with this but admittedly haven't listened to it since.

I've listened to the whole thing a few times (well, sometimes I skip 470 Nanometers), but I usually just listen to my favorites.

When I say 'initial stint' this was a good handful of listens in a fairly short time-frame, I just haven't returned at a later date. Interesting album though and unlike anything else I personally listen to, so I reckon it might have further replay value.

Toby is at his best when he does moody/melancholic pieces or having some memorable hooks. Other than Smoke-Scented Mycelium, this isn’t that interesting.

"Toby"
"best when he does hooks"
lol

I'd probably listen to this more often if it weren't because the high pitched noise is still there, it is in Glyph at least (it isn't as annoying as before now though) so I usually just jam The Knot.

I've just noticed the comment saying this was inspired by Ulver's Messe and their soundtracks and I'm not happy.
