MPP and its poppiness could only have irreparably damaged this band if they had stuck with that sound and sold out. They didn't. Other than Fall Be Kind, nothing they've made since 2009 has sounded even remotely like MPP

I really like this (visual) album. It reminds me of a more polished, studio version of campfire songs. Spacy, proggy minimalist animal collective songs are what I signed up for.
