Gold Cobra was the song from "Old Songs" I heard, I liked it. I never bothered to check out the others though. It had a lot of yelling in the beginning and then a slower section in the middle. Not quite punk like I mentioned earlier, but certainly more raw than the Albatross.

Didn't know Smidley had an album out. I mostly just stumble upon stuff I like and don't always follow it up. His first album had some uhhh real catchy names "Hell, No One Likes You, Nothing'll, Fuck This, Power Word Kill, Milkshake." A true poet!!! :D

I saw them live for the first time ever on Manchester Orchestra's anniversary tour for Mean Everything to Nothing. You could tell most of the crowd didn't really know who Foxing was. But they brought the fucking house down with Lich Prince, and that solo absolutely RIPPED. By the end of the set they had the crowd chanting for an encore as an opener.

completely agree. When they played here back in December they did a really stripped down version of Rory that was just Eric and Conor and god it was incredible.
