I wish I got the hype around Five Cups. I can't get through the whole song without getting trigger finger to click the skip button.

It drones on way too long. Easily one of my least favorite songs on the record.

Grand Paradise, Lich Prince, Gameshark, Nearer My God, Bastardizer, and Lambert on repeat for me gets the job done but I still appreciate the other tracks.

Nothing beats the first 6 tracks on here tbh but Won’t Drown is great. Best for me are probs Grand Paradise, Gameshark, t/t

Bastardizer is probably my favorite, but it's so hard to say. Heartbeats has to be in the conversation for me as well, so damn catch, Five Cups is obviously just an absolute epic, the opener is fabulous, I really couldn't choose if I had to.

My only complaint about this album is that 'Lambert', for as awesome as it is, should have just gone on forever with the guitar solo rather than just limping back with some more falsetto verses. Can you imagine that song if it ended vocally on "tell them all to go home" at 2:05 then the rest was just an increasingly complex solo? I salivate at the missed opportunity every time. Even with that said, it's still easily my second favorite song here lol.

3rded, Lambert was a missed opportunity that had huuuuge potential to be a much more impactful closer. It’s still good tho

Bastardizer has probably stuck with me more than any other song on this record. Perfect song structure.

The refrain of "You think I must not remember, but I do." sticks with me really hard

Ya know, sometimes all you need is like 2 or 3 REALLY good or meaningful tracks for an album to hit 5 status. I think I have Oh, Inverted World by The Shins 5'd, but I only really love about like 2-3 songs, but the whole album is meaningful because of when I listened to it.

I want an album full of songs like the closer to this one. Such a slow burn. Reminds me of old school Brand New.
