Definitely one of my most disappointing albums I've heard given how hyped I was after CM. Miming and ICFIC are the only songs I like in full, the rest have about two or three moments spread across them I enjoy.

I don't hate it, it's just bland most of the time. The occassionally catchy choruses just about make up for the grating ass woah-oh gang vocals and lame ass lyrics. It's like John's lyrical prowess is in direct inverse proportion to his happiness. I wish him the best but fuck has he forgotton how to write powerful lyrics. That solo thing he did was worse than this imo, so dissappointing given the quality of the Little Brother tunes he had put out a few years ago.

This def. felt like a sterilized effort of a band making like their firstmajor label debut by disownign nearly everyhting that got them to where they are. I still enjoy a lot of the hooks and melodies, but it did come across as very soulless and diluted.

That's not even a jam. I can't get into any of the songs on this. None of them are up to par, maybe with ANY of their previous tracks. Yeah, I'm gonna say there isn't a single song on here that's better than any of their songs on other albums.
