This is still their best album IMO. It's the perfect blend of everything they did before and after.

It is my favorite, and like you said a perfect blend of the popper and the heavier stuff.

yeah definitely their most focused and consistent record. their most mature-sounding too, i'd say. i know a lot of people prefer lost in the separation but it doesn't come even remotely close to this tbh. disambiguation is the one i haven't heard, which is apparently nearly as good as this. maybe i should check it out, been so disappointed with their discography on the whole tho

Definitely give Disambiguation a spin, its the best Spencer has ever sounded, and it gives this a run for its money

This is the Spencer I prefer. Like yeah, he got some better lows as time went on but his lows really aren't that great. His mid/highs are where the magic was.

Compared to the rest of his work, yeah. For the genre, no not really.

Not saying I don't love them, just that his mids and highs are the special ones for me.

Second song and second to last song are my favorites from there, gyro. But if nothing grabbed you by the first 5 idk if the rest is either.

Liking the album a lot more a second time around, especially after listening to erase me earlier

How I feel every time I try listening to that album. Like it's good but it's not really what I like. I've never been able to get into LITSOS nor Disam no matter how much I've tried.

Erase Me's different, but it's pretty good. probably a 3.5 logically but I still have a bit of a sentimental feeling towards it due to its domino-effect influence on my overall taste.

The lyrics are atrocious (and I'm basically ride or die on lyrics working) and the production is rubbish Matt Squire has an extremely inconsistent track record and then the songwriting this weird version of nu metal that really didn't need to come back. I just can't hear anything but bad bmth listening to it
