Spencer's vocal performance is just so special on this album



His lows definitely got better on the albums after this, but something about his mid-range/cleans here just resonate with me differently

i remember reading somewhere that he was trying to fill Dallas' shoes on TOCS and this sounds closer to his work with This Runs Through vocally.

Yep that's pretty much exactly what he was going for. Idc what anyone says, TOCS will always be a great album. Didn't age the best but songs like Boy Brushed Red and Reinventing Your Exit will always have incomparable nostalgic value
