I think it's the vocals come in on the beat a little late so they don't feel as on-time as they should, which makes it feel like they're struggling to both keep up. And they're both soft vocals but the instrumentation is much louder, so it sounds like both vocalists are timid and unsure of themselves.

Whaaaaat worthless animal is so sick, the first half is really spacey and chill and the end is somewhere between chill and intense. Weird vibe. Saw them play it live and they got booed a lot
