I legit love all the songs so you can tell me any fav and I’ll agree. I also have a special affinity for millions, the voice of trespass, and blot.

I think Blot is by far the best on I. Tough choice between proverbial bellow and voice of trespass for II.

I think I need to jam them again. I could not handle both back to back in one sitting last time. Blot, Proverbial Bellow and Voice of Trespass were the standouts and felt really well constructed

Is it just me or does yellow eyes drag?

Yea, that’s one of my least favorite tracks they’ve done tbh. There’s some nice sections in it, but it just doesn’t do much for me.

Thank god. I feel like that's one song I would cut and it would improve the whole Automata thing quite a bit.

What drags about that song

idk man, it doesn't grip me. Also the tone of Tommy Rogers cleans can be a bit much. Stuff like "Yellow. YELLow! YELLOHOHOW!" feels like a dull moment imo. If I would cut a song, it's yellow eyes.

Listening to the two albums front to back now, and when Automata II enters I immediately felt like everything felt a lot better. The Proverbial Bellow is a banger.

Sweeet, can’t wait to see what they got cookin. I wonder if them going back and remixing and revisiting all their past albums changed their writing mindset at all. Or if they’ll continue down a path similar to this.

Yeah man, good point. They're yet to disappoint me.

Same they haven’t made anything I dislike, though I do prefer their sound from the Alaska - TGM era.

If I were to guess I'd say the next one will be in the heavy-prog metal style of this one. Don't think they'll make something as core-sounding as even Parallax II again, but also don't think they'd do another album as light as Coma Ecliptic just yet either.

We made it through more than half of November without anyone bumping a BTBAM thread, c'mon, Guys. We were entering a new Sput golden age.
