I don't know how to compare the two. Might as well be two completely different bands.

The Satellite Years is good from start to finish. This lets up a little.

Did you try their 4 other albums?

The Frailty of Words - Like Satty but rougher

No Wings to Speak of Like Satty but better

Magnetic North Like Arbiter but better

A Types like nothing and not better but completely different genre from the others. one of the best standard modern hard rock albums.

@Muhlysa Magnetic North is my favorite Hopesfall but you need to add Saskatchewan after the t/t (as originally intended) or you wont get the full experience.

Oh fuck thank you banana I totally forgot about that. And yes don't feel weird about doing that. The label was run by demons that fucked the band over and took a random song off their album with the band not knowing until the album came out.

Right. The experience kept them from making more music. Whole thing sucked but hey we're here and potentially having yet another album (if things ever go back to normal that is lol).

New song continues to be amazing.

Also yes, Arbiter is great but not quite on the level of genius that is MN.

it exceeded that genius

has better buildups, better momentum, more fun vocal melodies, better drum production, cooler guitar effects and guitar riff transitions

I'm not sure that this album has the same streak of 6/5 songs like Magnetic North does at the end of the album with Devil's Concubine, Head General Hospital, and Paisley. That is a top five best sequence of three songs ever.

We hate Trustkill obviously. Has anyone listened to Open Hand's first album The Dream. I think Hopesfall or Beloved fans would enjoy it. On that album they had Alex Rodriguez of Saosin fame playing drums and really killing it on that album. Here's a prime piece
