I hope there's another bonus song additional to Revolt, Revolve. It does make for a good closer tho.

yes nanner, actually, it reminds me a lot of the alternate version of Bird Flu that was released before Magnetic North came out. dunno why. maybe the production, bass and drums

Second listen was even better. Just wow. Got some cash saved up so it's settled. I'm buying it. Haven't loved a record this much on first listen all year. Gonna start on their other records soon.

So is this like the satellite years?

parts of songs have the same vibe and guitar tone as satellite years, the heavy riffing and the spacey leads both come up here and there. the intro to Bradley Fighting Vehicle is the biggest offender/complimenter

Ah ok good to hear. Loved that album in my youth. I'm pretty damn curious about this seeing the reception it has had anyways so will jam it at the gym.

Drowning Potential reminds me of Deftones when they go super heavy but Hopesfall manages to maintain the beauty to a heavy song even better than Deftones usually does.

looking forward to seeing what you think osmark!

"It seems the general metalcore/hardcore fanbase (myself included) have given up their hopes on any new music sounding fresh or exciting."

Thats a difficult argument to make imho when we have the likes of Sectioned / Frontierer and Rolo Tomassi making new waves and the likes of Converge and Zao still chugging on after all these years. Suppose it depends on what you define metalcore/hardcore as, but it appears to be an odd take to me, and one you don't substantiate. Neat review otherwise though.
