the longer and more elaborate these girls make their arrangements, the better they become

hearing these songs in a shuffled playlist was an interesting experience over the past few months. sometimes i'd be like "man i need to delete this album because it sucks." but then the song would go on for another five minutes and i'd get really into it. i still haven't listened to the whole thing from start to finish but they really have a knack for drawing you in despite initial apprehension

exactly; their short & sweet stuff is alright but really no better than any other half decent pop out there...it's when they go on these long, winding 5-11 minutes journeys that they become something special. the album as a whole can be hit or miss but the peak moments are enough to put this somewhere on my year end list

Maybe half decent pop is the wrong choice of words, but a lot of their short and sweet stuff is comparable to Chvrches.
