This slaps. I was just running some errands and put this EP on in the car. I like the speed and intensity. Controlled demolition is right because the album explodes, but in a coordinated way.

As a massive Converge fan who's loved pretty much everything they've ever put out, I've got to say I'm very disappointed by this (which wouldn't seem like it from the 3.5 rating but that's just how much I dig Converge). I mean, everything on here is fine but if I want fast and hard Converge I would rather go for their album tracks, even from TDIU like "Eye of the Quarrel" or "Broken By Light", over these. At this stage of their career I feel a song like "Eve" is the style of song best suited to them.

It's easily forgettable since it's so short and just kind of run-of-the-mill converge which isn't a bad thing really.
