Love these guys. Better than You're Nothing, not as good as Plowing into the Field of Love. However, all albums are close in their quality since they're a solid and consistent band and I think with some more maturity they can make a classic.

wow "Thieves Like Us" is giving me hard "Night Clubbing" vibes by Iggy pop

Album is still a massive banger.

Plowing is their creative peak, but this is their weakest for me. I miss the hardcore and noise edges of their earlier stuff very much as well. Still an amazing band. Catch It and Plead the Fifth were the main standouts for me, here. I want them to do everything they've done before in a record and blend it seamlessly.

Wow, you're not kidding.
It's a long spiral down for these guys, I take it.

The 2nd song off the new album, High and Hurt, sounds like the hippie song "Rainbow made of children".

After a 6 or 7 year inexplicable hesitance to fully check these dudes out, I'm finally in. I now know what I've been missing. This band kicks major ass.
