Yeah man, same. Extremely nice guy as well. Very zen, if that makes sense lol. Just very calm, soft spoken and seemingly content/at peace. Definitely wouldn’t be surprised if the dude is into meditation.

I hope so Talons, im not the greatest fan of Tool (even tho I like them) but I definetly would like to see a solid album after 13 years. In the end this album growed on me a little tbh but I still don't get those two songs, other than that is a enjoyable album.

Just listened to this using Sowing's playlist and it actually works. The DLB/Contrarian combo sounds great and The Doomed should have been the opener for sure.
Still worst A Perfect Circle, though.

ETE beats eMotive, but I don’t think these guys have a bad album.

I don't know man. I think I enjoy Emotive more than most because I don't really see it as the "true" follow up to Thirteen Step, given it is a cover album with only two original songs (one being nothing more than a remix).
Here, though, I feel like people are forgiving to this because it isn't as bad as Emotive, but for me this is a terrible follow up to Thirteenth Step. The track list blows (even if the actual songs aren't really that bad) and the front cover is pure dogshit. When you have to re-arrange the songs to enjoy an album you know something's wrong lol

I do like eMotive, but I really like this.

Don’t know what they were thinking with that album cover though.

The vinyl cover with Keenan doesn't look as hideous, but it still looks bad. I'm pretty sure there was a fan made cover somewhere that looked a lot better.
I will keep listening with Sowing's track list to see how much it grows. At first listen in that order it flowed seamlessly, really. Props to that dude.

It feels jarring to have So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish between The Doomed and TalkTalk, so I made a slight variation to the tracklist. It flows better to me, without interrupting the tracks that segue one another, if that makes sense.

Emotive is trash.....shouldve just released passive as a single

^Pretty sure it was released as a single with proper art and all, in case you just want to have the song. I still enjoy some songs from it, but I view it more as a compilation rather than a follow up to 13th Step.
@artiswar I'll give it a try. One more listen will not hurt.

Nah this is awesome. It's a 4 for me but I'll slap a 3.5 just because the original album is all over the place. I really can't think of a worse great album with an awful tracklist (and worse album cover for that matter).
