I guess bands do have to adapt to hip hop sensibilities in order to get noticed nowadays 😔, I'll give those a try, I highly doubt they'll like it but won't hurt to try

Yeah try something lighter and then work them into the heavy stuff. Maybe even tell them to pay attention to the "bass" and the "beat" and then move them to focus on other aspects.

"They think Enter Shikari is the best band in the world."

Based.

"Best band in the world" is always a stupid statement, but ES are way better than Tesseract ez

I can see how people wouldn't like this, the way Dan sings cleans out his ass. Kinda sounds like an idiot

Idk, I like the cleans here. it's the songs that don't hold up one third of the runtime imo

I'm surprised people still like ES in 2022, I for one think they haven't aged the best, and that production on older albums... eek

Enter Shikari was never bigger than the likes of My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Panic At The Disco etc. Guess it's the hare vs tortoise situation (ES being the tortoise in this situation)

I enjoy their music, but I wouldn't say they're high on my best bands list.

"Maybe even tell them to pay attention to the "bass" and the "beat" and then move them to focus on other aspects."

Well I mean people pay attention to the "beat" on hip hop songs anyway, so I think that would be pretty redundant

I guess maybe I was referring to the heaviness instead? Like drive around town and crank that bass and show them that comparison?

Orbital and that part two minutes into Beneath the Waves are my biggest takeaways from this release, I'm sorry Tesseract fans I'll make an apology video
