This grew on me a little and is better than their last. I just wished they would riff more. They're certainly capable.

This album is a grower for me too. Like it loads more than Polaris. Fave is always Asherract, but we got Voices From The Fusilage out of that so I'm not salty. Dan is the man though, guy is huge live.

King, Orbital, Juno, Smile, The Arrow would be a nice 20 minutes plus EP, that's how I am listening to this.
Still this can't beat Polaris, but does a slightly better job than Altered State or One (both of them are way too long imo) although they have some great tracks, too
Most of the time this band means uninteresting riffs with some nice vocals, it's a reals shame.

Tesseract were in before all of GOOD Music

My opinion about this band is changing constantly, I can't tell why. I enjoy this and their earlier stuff a lot more now

Its a feels thing with Tesseract I think

True. I just love the dark feeling of One

Besides Deception I really don't come back to One much. But sometimes it hits hard.

I'm slowly warming up to this, still think Luminary is awful though

It's the weakest song on here, really. Even Beneath My Skin/Mirror Image is better and I'm not too crazy about that song, even though I warmed up to it. It's good

the problem with Beneath My Skin/Mirror Image is that they take too long to really get going. The latter of which you literally have to deal with practically 4 minutes of sounding pretty before you get to any actual riffs.

Yep, that's my problem with that track, too. It really drags Sonder down and it would have been better as an EP. But the other tracks are just fantastic. King, Orbital, Juno, Smile, The Arrow. Some of their best stuff imo

Idk guys. Beneath My Skin/Mirror Image is actually my favourite song after King. Yeah they're slow but I feel like that's exactly what they wanted to do with them. And it works for me.
Play some space game (Rimworld worked for me) with this looped. So good.

I think you're not the only one with that opinion, but I wonder where it's coming from haha. Idk, I'm more into their more accessable stuff. Beneath My Skin works better for me than Mirror Image though

I honestly hope they go a heavier direction on their next album. I know they're about the atmosphere and stuff but my favorite songs by them have almost always been their heavier tracks. They really do know how to bring in some great riffs.

I may be on board with that too, actually. I thought I wanted them to live in the Altered State / Hexes niche but this album proves they may have more room to explore their heavier side again.

Luminary, King, Juno, Smile, The Arrow are some of their heaviest tracks if not their heaviest...

lol Luminary has like 2 heavy riffs and that's it, by far the worst song they've done imo

Shit, I forgot! A song needs at least three heavy riffs to be heavy. Thanks for reminding me. How many riffs does a song need to be brvtal?
