Met some Periphery fanboys at an Animals as Leaders show, they were not fun to talk to

It's so easy to control them though

I find that anyone who fanboys too hard about a band can be annoying.

I've been jamming Juno so hard. It's such a dark, urgent song. This album rules hard.

Best song of all time

Juno takes the cake here. The bridge and onwards are Tesseract at their best.

king is king
btw metal fans are retarded basically. not all ofc, but i used to think they were the most open minded folk when it comes to music. the opposite is actually true. ive met some of the most stuck up and ignorant guys there, kinda the level of those flat earth imbeciles.
look at this guy if u wanna know what im talking about:

"Look! Look at all these bands I hate! They're shieeeeet!"
"But breh, why don't you just focus on the music you like?"
"DID YOU EVEN HEAR HOW SHIT THEY ARE?"
"Mate. I can't un-"
"REEEEEEEE!"
Many metalheads.

"But breh, why don't you just focus on the music you like?"
Apply this to anything. People like to focus on things they hate more than they like, and I will never, ever understand it.

Feeling a bit indifferent on this so far. All the songs are amazing and the flow is great, but there are like only 5 actual songs. I hope the next LP won't take so long or that they at least give us an EP next year or so

On elitist music listeners: Why discuss music in terms of what you do/don't enjoy when you can conveniently place yourself on top of some imaginary hierarchy of listeners?

Yea man I’m pleasantly surprised by their development here. Very tight record. I loooove how it’s short and sweet with lush atmospheric spacey songs. Quality over quantity.

I can't get into Beneath My Skin and Mirror Image. The other songs are fine

Two minor nitpicks I've noticed the more I've got into this record.
1) The album art is obviously going for a solar system look. They gave earth a moon which is cool and I get why the outer planets don't have em -- there'd be like a hundred dots. But why does mars have only one?
2) The dual track (beneath my skin/mirror image) has some weird ass samples at 0:39, 0:56, 5:18. They don't really add anything to the tune other than make me think random wildlife is attacking me when im playing vidyagames and listening at the same time.
P.S. I just realized the reason they're a dual track is because they're the same "length" and one is called mirror image. Cute, I guess.
