So I saw them yesterday live

Gotta be honest, all new songs were a very nice experience. The male cleans are actually from the singer, and it is obvious when seeing them live they experimented quite a bit with adding melodies, the writing also seems a little bit more mature

Still I think the aggressiveness of JORD was one of the main selling point for me, and Diorama is less aggressive overall (Tvesind has a very cool riff but it just appears once) . They played for sure the first four, and I think Tvesind and Diorama, but I am not that "still" familiar with all tracks. They also did some variations to the original JORD tunes to make them more "gazey" in some bits for sure, although to be fair I was quite stoned and vibin lol so take it with a grain of salt

New one is is really good, they still have that Deafheaven imprint but mixed with more interesting twists. Sylvaine also sings on the album (title track).

T/T from here is still their best song but new album is better overall. Really smooth, engaging listen.

New one reminds me of Deafheaven if they pursued the metallic element of their sound over the shoegaze element
