@Atari, definitely some quality music on there, especially #28 (: I think the only one I haven't jammed from there is that Nachtreich/Spectral Lore split, so I'll give it a listen.

EDIT: just popped open the Bandcamp link for that split and the first comment at the top is Dan Capp from Winterfylleth "Not usually a fan of Spectral Lore but the material they share with this release is enjoyable. Nachtreich was the reason I bought this but it really works as a whole!" love that guy.

That Nachtreich / Spectral Lore split is pure bliss. Will definitely be jamming it tonight, thanks for the reminder :]

The Nachtreich/Spectral Lore split is the first vinyl record I ever bought back at release.

But I got a massive boner for anything Spectral Lore releases.

I experience the same kind of hype for anything Nachtreich releases

I'm so glad people are digging this. Sputnik has a knack for sleeping on most dark folk albums, so it's a nice surprise

Very true, but at least the subculture is a great crowd around these parts

Honestly I think there are about a dozen bands out there called "Winterfylleth" within this genre... that's how it feels anyway lmao

somehow I've managed not to hear anything by these guys yet

this seems like a good time to get on both the Winterfylleth and Panopticon wagons

I mean most of their stuff is more or less the same with some minor tweaks tbh. The Mercian Sphere is my fav for sure so I'd rec checking that if you want.

This one is my second fav of theirs so def get on it hard too. Just don't expect a bm album obviously haha.

This is so damn chilled out and atmospheric, i’ve always enjoyed the folk elements they’ve used but wondered how they would work in the context of a whole record. I shouldn’t have worried really, this is a awesome change of pace for them.
