Evoken - Quietus, Mournful Congregation - Tears From a Grieving Heart, Bell Witch - Longing/Mirror Reaper, Black Wreath - A Pyre of Lost Dreams, Arcana Coelestia - Le Mirage de L’idéal, Skepticism - Stormcrowfleet = the best of the best in funeral doom imo.

Mars kind of meant doom in general, these would be easier to go balls deep into compared to funeral :3

cool lesson Adolf. Trully usefull for me that packaging X)

I liked a lot Hooded Menace, became one of my fave bands.

Other doom I enjoyed a lot was Ruins Of Beverast, but its more like a BM doom (?)

Pallbearer is more metal/ sludge doom influenced right?

Edit: shit I didn't noticed I was on the wrong page! lol Its about a short resume AdolfChrist made about Doom on page1.

Another beautiful review Nocte, very sensory as always. Also the second one this year refering red wine. Should we be worried? X)X)

Nah bro not really tbh. Bell Witch is way more minimal and drawn out.

I gotta jam Black Wreath again too now that I'm way more into funeral doom, didn't really dig it when I first heard it.

Also yeah Watching from a Distance by Warning is prob the best doom album ever made imo if we're not limiting the discussion to funeral doom.

ok tks Hawks. I was kind of "afraid" of that. Mirror Reaper was really difficult to pass through. Will give this a go.

I mean this is still funeral doom so it's still drawn out in a sense. Just jam and see if you dig. m/
