Out of curiosity, I looked these guys up yesterday, I was surprised to find out they did the song "Sun Doesn't Rise", that song was my jam when I was younger but I never knew who performed it haha

This is probably their best album. After this one they suck so hard.

XX is also pretty good. But thats about it.

Yeah, what I've noticed about bands labeled as Nu-metal is that they generally have 1 or 2 strong albums with some great songs, then lose steam after (ie Slipknot, Mudvayne, these guys). The only real exception to the rule if we're gonna count them as Nu-metal is Deftones, who have consistently put out quality albums since their beginnings

I'm really enjoying this, very diverse. I haven't listened to nu-metal in years but this would be more alt./experimental metal

@TalonsOfFire: If you like this one, you'll probably enjoy their first three albums.

Cool stuff. "Destroy the World Around Me" is probably their most ambitious song, and it's great!

Mother Machine Gun is easily one of the strongest tracks off this, and one of my favorite MRH songs as well. The piano that opens and ends it is so electrifying, man.

@sapient- except these guys are industrial metal not Nu-metal, only reason people see them as Nu-Metal is J Mann raps at times, thats about it. sound wise they have more in common with Ministry or Godflesh then Korn or Limp Bizket (although not as good quality as the former 2 obviously lol). In fact when i first heard this album, musically, i immediately thought "wow this sounds like a lesser version of AstroCreep by White Zombie"

bands not too bad for a "fun" band tbh, and thats what you gotta take em as. live they are probly one of the better bands out there tbh, despite being a local act, their Halloween shows are epic

Based on the tracks on here, this is probably their best, but I doubt I could make myself sit through it these days

what the fuck? I always wrote this band off as a shitty Korn clone but a friend was playing this earlier and it's actually some really solid stuff. I don't even know if I'd call it nu-metal in the typical sense. it's a lot more atmospheric and experimental than I expected.

plus I was not expecting that Jens Kidman feature
