okay listened to both in a row and I think that's the best way to go about this. I feel like if this album kept up the momentum after Yellow Eyes this would be a much much better listen. Blot's chorus thing is good but the song just doesn't have that big of an impact.
Part 2 feels far stronger in that regard. The Proverbial Bellow, besides just having some of the most interesting guitar work on the album, also kinda left me wanting a bit more but that's my biggest complaint. The Grid, Voice of Trespass, and Yellow Eyes are definitely my top 3.

Yea, Blot is kne of the best on this. Automata I is kinda hard to connect to for whatever reason, Automata II is easier to love imo. A good album overall (both parts), somewhere between 3,5 and 4
