Drudkh and Hate Forest shared a band member, or two (idk). Hate Forest has often been accused of being a nazi band. Why? Their nationalistic lyrics. However, nationalism and national socialism aren't quite the same thing. Taking into consideration how the Ukrainian people have suffered under German occupation during WW2, them being a nazi band just because of their nationalistic lyrics would be a major contradiction, if there ever was one.

Nah fam white nationalism and nazism are two totally different things. Btw I’m totally just trolling I don’t necessarily think this band has any weird white power leanings

Yeah, I figured that much, LOL.

Just to be clear on this, while I usually don't take lyrical content all that seriously, actual racism is where I draw the line. That being said, however, I strongly feel that in recent years this new wave of PC awareness has morphed into a genuine witch hunt, for some reason targeting black metal bands in particular.

For instance, last year a Woe concert (Utrecht, the Netherlands) was cancelled, giving in to social media pressure coming from antiracist activists. Why? Because a few days earlier, Woe shared a stage with Inquisition. (...)

Bottom line, they banned Woe for racism. That's right, Woe. For racism.

Idiots.
