I need to check this out. I'd probably like it. What album is best to begin with?

Best to start at the beginning tbh. Forgotten Legends, Autumn Aurora, The Swan Road, Blood In Our Wells, Estrangement and Microcosmos are all essential.

Eternal Turn of the Wheel is really good too, though not at the level of any of those.

Handful of Stars and A Furrow Cut Short aren't bad, but they aren't great either. You could probably afford to skip over those two.

I haven't heard this or Songs of Grief and Solitude, though I'm excited to hear this when I get around to it.

"Funny about that stupid Akercocke comment when they have never released a bad (or even average) album and Drudkh has released more than a couple awful albums."

Really? Then please explain what's so great about this song, or any of their songs, because apparently I'm not getting it.

Nice slut though, I'll give them that.

No offence, Hawks. I agree with you, most of the time. To each their own.

That video is so embarrassing. OK song though, but far from their best. All of Renaissance and Words are better.

At work so I can't see which song it is, but they're pretty much a perfect band for me & the pinnacle of progressive extreme metal music other than maybe a handful of bands for me. Like the blackened more Satanic version of Opeth and idk I just love them.

Love this band too, but I can't deny that he's put out some straight garbage, something I personally can't say about Akercocke. Not sure where the comparison even came from though tbh.

Akercocke and Drudkh are both great, and this is a great return to form.
