A 2/5 for me is in accordance to my RYM rating definition of 'average to poor' which fits this album perfectly.
My reasoning is the quality of 'average' in terms of music is a negative trait in and of itself (who seeks out 'average entertainment'? That's shit you'd avoid) so average is stuff that comes in just under 2.5.
A 2.5 is more 'averagely good' or how I put it on RYM - 'average to good'. Plus you can't be precise about these things.
So in summary - album is sorta average in a way that isn't entertaining.
