More conflict between secret sounds and camp cope again lol

Album Rating: 4.0
definitely more 1.0 ratings on this album than other albums of this genre, on average anyway
I wonder why that is!!!

consider the great drop in rating between this and their debut, even tho theyre like pretty much consistent in quality from each other (regardless of whether ya actually like the music or not)

'I wonder why that is!!!'
More exposure, dilutes the fanboys ratings. It obvious yeah. Same all bands.

this might surprise you but lyrics and artistic persona are also factored into ratings

"artistic persona" yeah I agree, people hate outspoken women

Saw them last night in Melbourne, they were good but pretty short set, no trepidation or West side story and no encore ): bit bummed

I wouldn't make that assumption - this is a 2.5/3 for me as compared to a 3.5/4 for the debut; Doof's drop in rating is similar, albeit more negative (a 2 to a 1). I bet there are people who'll judge this album without giving it a fair listen, but it's not worth being so cynical: you're bound to be wrong at least half of the time. Glad you loved this as much as the debut, though.
Also, that sucks schoonda. :/ How was the performance otherwise?

i mean, besides the fact that the bandmates are toxic as fucking fuck, the vocals on this are nail-on-a-chalkboard levels of awful

performance was good, they sounded tight as usual, Kelly is always great on bass but overall it was a pretty much what you'd expect from a Camp Cope set. Considering tix were approx $37 was hoping for a longer set though :/

nah they were just chilling watching the band. I usually get a bit nervous/starstruck around musicians unless I'm absolutely pissed so I didn't say hey haha. Plus I only saw them mid set so didn't seem like the right time haha

"I usually get a bit nervous/starstruck around musicians unless I'm absolutely pissed so I didn't say hey haha"
same lol

always worried i'll make a bad impression and it will forever be tied to my enjoyment of the music. that is, when i listen to them, i'll be reminded of how i made an ass of myself in front of them lol

yeah I just get shy and don't know what to say, but if I see them after the show and have had some beers in me then I'm usually all over them. Happened with Wil Wagner once and I pretty much told him I loved him and that he's a legend haha

wtffff tbh if you're charging that much you gotta do at least a 1 hour set straight up (we're talkin 37 aud righ?) and i mean come onnnnnn NO ENCORE? i mean if nobody even cheered for one then fuck y'all but i assume there was cheerin
maybe they were feelin sick or somethin
