Listening to Who Invited The Russian Soldier by Every Time I Die from 2009s New Junk Aesthetic and the breakdown is like the breakdown for Rituals. Both amazing songs.

am I dumb and meatheaded and stupid for thinking that this is actually quite unengaging compared to their last several? as scattershot as they were, they weren't at all boring
i think I prefer their sound with more bite and less twinkle. Grievances did the mix of softer sections the best

Randomly found this band on my streaming service and after listening to it for like 30 seconds I could tell this would be something that’d be praised here lol

This album unified Sput for quite some time.
Edit: That is until Pika and Ledd joined, fcourse.

i have a gross feeling that the twinkle is gonna kill this band with its poison chalice popularity game and that they'll go full spiritbox and trash out 3s for the rest of their career
hysterics 2 when

Really like the one song off this album and the new one I checked. Will have to check the rest of this and probably more

'a trve sputcore record' (2)
This release made me feel more at home, for sure. As much as discovering something new undoubtedly does more for one's 'musical development' (yuck!), knowing that a band I was already familiar with became true Sputcore, resulted in a very wholesome experience indeed.
