I need to give this another spin before the year ends. Solid album I recall. Opener is really great.

The opener (and Golden October) were what got me hooked on this but the other songs really grow on you. About The Ghosts and Abhainn are right up there with the singles.

lol Chan...yeah this isn't as rich or complicated as I'd hoped when I decided to listen, but I will say that it grows a bit. The back half sounds/feels a lot fuller.

do you mean lyrically? because if so I might tend to agree, I don't really remember any standout verses from this despite how much I've listened to it (ofc could be ignorance on my part)

lyrically and vocally above all else, they just don't match the quality/beauty of the music to me
