Saw these guys live tonight ... their drummer had to drop off the tour and they replaced him ... with a giant speaker with a duct taped smiley face. Bold move, sounded weird but I'm happy they continued the tour. Tbh though, I liked both of their openers more than them (Icarus the Owl and Megosh)

The album is definitely a grower. I think as the weather warms this is gonna be a great summer jam.

Lol really? When I saw them open for PtH last night they had the drummer from Destrage (band playing before then) filling in. Dude did a great job and I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed these guys

Federico Paulovich is a monster. Considering how batshit Destrage songs are playing Good Tiger shit must be a breeze. But on a related note, Good Tiger seems like a cursed band. Their van broke down on their tour with I The Might and Dez ended up having to play the last couple of dates on the tour solo.

Thats good they had someone fill in for themm when you went scream ... I'm sure they sounded much better

I feel like GT is really trying to assert an identity but isn't really going about it in the best way.
For instance, they are on tour with PTH and Destrage and is seems like an odd fit because they're so vocal centric and didn't pull out the chargers like Snake Oil or Pontiac Firebird. They need to really tour with Tesseract or contortionist or something.
|
| |
Also it kinda sucks for anyone to have to follow Destrage.
|
| |
They were solid/fun live. nothing crazy and I don't think they fit with the other two, but I liked them more live than my first/only listen to of this even though they played for far longer than I wanted
|
| |
I like GT a lot, but I really wish Destrage had a longer set. Those dudes slayed and definitely won over a lot of people.
|
| |
Tbh I didn't think Destrage was anything too special. Enjoyed GT's set more and it was my first time hearing both bands

I can't imagine them following Destrage. This tour would have been an incredible one... but they never came to Colorado
|
| |
Pshaw. Destrage is a way better live band at this point.

How did Protest stack up? I've seen them twice, once with Arif and once without, but the first time with him they seemed to have way more energy.

This is the first time I've seen them, but they brought it. Rodys got charisma for days and the band is tight af.
