Yeah it's just okay. Nothing special, just another solid TMP album. Lyrics are also horrendous on some of the new songs.

Yet another band I have stopped listening to because their singer sexually assaulted someone (I know he 'apologised', but apologising for sexual assault doesn’t magically make everything okay).

I mean, there are so many factors. It was an anonymous post. Anyone could make an anonymous post and say anything about anyone. Dylan didnt seem to deny the accusations, but that could be because he decided to bite the bullet because people who deny these accusations and imply theyre lying dont do too well in the eyes of the public. But, if thats not the case and Dylan is aware of who the person is and what the accusation is about, even then it just sounds like a problem with communication (at least according to Dylan), not a malicious sort of forced rape. If thats the case, it sounds like a private matter that didnt need to be public. Its all so ambiguous and we have no details to go on, and we probably never will. Thats how most of these cases are. So to make a judgement and pretend you can know exactly what went on and boycott a band over it is pretty retarded. Not to mention that people do make mistakes and deserve second chances.

Adolf with the facts out here.
I refuse to believe that Dylan sexually assaulted someone with malicious intent. He's far too nice of a person to do something that heinous. There must have been a misunderstanding. I suppose being a nice person doesn't rule out the possibility of it happening, but the genuine kindness and cordial conversation he showed when I met him in person makes me want to believe he's a good guy.

Lots of people who seem nice have done heinous shit. Someone can be really nice to a fan and really terrible to other people they know. Id just like to give him the benefit of the doubt because a. Its an anonymous poster b. When he talked about implied consent, the person never came out and said "no, im talking about straight up rape." At worst it sounds like he read the situation wrong and she didnt speak up.
but really it all comes down to, i dont really know what really happened, so whatever. im jammin and it doesnt bother me.

The thing is I have spoken to the woman who came forward about Dylan. She didn’t tell me what happened, and while I won’t share what she told me out of respect for her, but how Dylan described the event publicly is not how she would describe what happened. Either way, I’m of the belief that anyone who commits this kind of thing should not be allowed to have a platform since it sends out the message that it’s okay for bands to commit this kind of behaviour and that all they’ll get is a mere slap on the wrist, leading to more of this behaviour which is already more than rampant within the scene.
There’s also the fact that they were apparently desperately trying to get a band with female members to support them in order to make their tour seem more 'diverse' while only charging them £50: https://twitter.com/itsmebabyarms/status/1126473862663872513?s=21
