AFTER THE CONTEST I SAW MY NEIGHBORS

I know Sput loves Laura Stevenson (myself included) but I don't think that she overshadows Jeff.
esp cuz jeff has a new release to talk about like every 6 months and laura hasn't put out a new album in a while (and the last one werent that great)

A bit late to this one. I've never heard any of Rossenstock's previous works but I'll be sure to check it out after reading your review.
I personally think acclaiming this album as a perfect 5.0 is a bit of an exaggeration, but a well-written nonetheless.

that's because you've never listened to his past works lmao

I personally think acclaiming this album as a perfect 5.0 is a bit of an exaggeration
my takeaway is that 5.0 is obvs an exaggeration but the point is this record can feeeeeeeeeeel like a 5 even tho it aint
but maybe its actually a 5; i havent let it rlly sink in yet

Any btmi albums I should check out?
|
| |
all of em
as usual, i suggest starting with album minus band and going chronologically from there. AMB and early bomb might be a bit inaccessible at first (esp. after listening to jeff solo material) but it's worth torturing yourself thru until you enjoy it. that way, you can really experience how the band grew over their career as if you were there for each album release; the evolution of btmi was a really beautiful thing. but if you really dont feel like doin that you could just go to scrambles first, which is their most accessible record. adults!!!!!! is also a decent starting place.
and ofc all bomb and jeff is free at quoteunquoterecords.com
