rejam, I love clouds but this is so much more precious, unless you hold guitar music in a higher light

I used to jam this band all the time, should probably revisit their discog. This & Yoshimi were my faves, but Clouds, Satellites & even some of their early stuff was also very enjoyable.

Yeah I'd prolly put Clouds and Yoshimi over this but all 3 are hard 5s so it's w/e.
Honestly everything from Priest-driven Ambulance to The Terror is great except for Mystics, and even Mystics has a handful of excellent tracks.

Quick, make me like Yoshimi.
I'm doing something wrong, it always makes me want to listen to this instead.

What do you guys think of the new album
I like it a lot more than Oczy

Far better than Oczy but still relatively underwhelming by their standards. Rumor has it that there's another album in the works that taps into more darker subjects, but nothing as harrowing as The Terror. Probably not true, but it has me interested.

the terror is top 3 lips imo. depending on my mood, some days i think it's their best

I find it both disappointing and unsurprising they didn't expand on that direction but regarding the circumstances in which it was made and with the whole Kliph Scurlock debacle (which I regard as the definite end of the band's peak), it makes sense they'd return to the more uplifting sounds they were adores for back in the day.

King's Mouth is a lot better than Oczy but still a few shades shy of being properly great. Also Mick Jones wasn't a great choice for the narrator, as he really doesn't have a particularly charismatic speaking voice...
