ok tbf after a full rerun I'd say the album is frontloaded and one of the songs is just some guy talking in spanish for 3 minutes because lido pimienta is a bristly personality who wants to challenge the english speaking music world (I mean that might sound dumb but read an interview with her lolol) but the first half is really good

I'm just finishing it up and I actually appreciate that interlude and the following digression into the latin folk roots as i find that to always be a beautiful blend of styles but Resisto Y Ya and the closer are definitely low points for me. The first half of the album is very vibrant and robust though I very much enjoyed it. Love what people are doing these days with electronic and the various latin roots.

Yeah you’d figure the last track would be MORE cool than the first (which is quite cool imho), but instead it’s LESS!!!
