Neither did I honestly. I mean, I knew they were capable of putting out a solid album since reforming (and I think AWLOBF was a "successful" reunion album)...but I didn't expect this to grow on me immensely. I bet the songs will are gonna be killer live.

Saw them two weeks ago...holy shit, the crowd reaction to the band playing Side A of the album (sans Mirror Of Infinite Light) was possibly just as extreme as they were to Like Rats and the American tour encore of Streetcleaner. Met and chatted with G.C. post-show while we both smoked our fav brand of cigs...very humble indeed. Even nicer of him to actually tell me his HM-2 settings when I asked him about it.

Relinquished, was that Streetcleaner performance at Roadburn 2011 or was it at last year’s Hospital Fest? Cause I was at the latter and will be at this year’s edition too with Jesu performing Christmas (a newer version of it) and G.C. Green making his live debut as Vitriol.
