Reading your review again keeps me interested. I never hear the lyrics unless I either really try or listen to something more than 5 times, and I'm only 2 in here. Seems like lyrics are important to your 5 though

absolutely
kinda has a lull in the third "mini-concept" part (The Wedding March) but I feel like Paddy's lyrics on this is a realization of the stuff he wrote on Langley Park and Protest Songs.

this album is amazing for the sheer atmosphere and genius of the songwriting as well. truly a thing of long forgotten fairytales to be found in the sounds on here. of course i could say this of quite a few prefab sprout albums. paddy is truly a new gershwin of our times; ive heard few a musician even come close to his sense of harmony, composition, and artistic integrity.
