also: is it just me or is the production/mixing on LP way better than on CD? got both and on CD it sounds kinda sloppy

Eclipse, you talking about Material Control or Worship and Tribute? Because I really dig the production on my cd version of Material Control.

Vinyl of Material Control. Tho I haven't been listening to the cd versio for a long time. Might be a reason for a potential bias

super fun album, far less stellar than the previous two eps, BUT for only spending a month making it, it turned out to be a worthwhile venture.

@Eclipse

I had a chance to hear the LP on a custom Garrard 301 TT (not sure about cart or phonostage), driven by the shockingly expensive ($44,000) darTZeel NHB-108 amp into the ~$4000 RAAL Requisite SR1a ribbon ear monitors and holy fuck it was absolutely mind-blowing. Far and away the best audio experience I've ever had.

The textural resolve of the SR1a is unreal to begin with (which is why I had to hear the LP from this rig), and driven by the darTZeel it renders the thick bass texture on this record with so much nuance that you can hear every little microtone that composes the overall sound. Never heard anything like it before in my life.
