Brand New has 1250 votes this year and the Wonder Years have 50. That's crazy.

" though I've realized they do at least have something of a following elsewhere even if it's not quite as hyperbolic as it is here. "

ahh, literally did not hear a single Brand New/Converge/Wonder Years song in the last several years though I think they would generally be considered sputcore. Really don't think I'm alone either.

I did listen to Menzingers but it sounded like derivative early 2000s pop-punk just like everything else I've heard from them.

Back to this - Scenes From A Midnight Movie, Inside, Phospholipid, Smoke Signals, A Million are my favorites.

our overlap is slight klap but I'm happy about this one

unlike whoever back a bit I feel the middle dips a bit but it's all tasty

interested in a rec based on my love of this which I can't quite classify...engaging upbeat electropop I guess?

There are a free tracks I really like on here. The rest will probably grow on me. Really liked the sound bytes.
