His sings so goddamn fast, I had a lot of the lyrics wrong

Like when he says "I see no plaque and I see no grave" I thought it was I see no black and I see no gray for the longest time

haha me too I thought it was black and grey for a long time

another burnt-out streetlight fan, I was hoping them actually making music would help me get back into them, but you know, with the delay and all...

"Seeing them on Wednesday. Set list isn't thrilling but they're always great."

How do you know? Were you looking at like setlist.fm and just guessing? I'm going to see them tomorrow.

Haha it was a high ass 4 and could be a 4.5 now (I've been listening to this shit nonstop since I'm seeing them soon). But yeah this didn't initially hit me all that hard with the exception of a few songs, but it's been growing ever since.

I also think Somewhere in the Between is totally underrated.

I think this is better as a whole but I find myself listening to Somewhere In The Between a lot more because it's way more 'anthemic' if that makes sense

Yeah definitely, I listened to this first because I always heard it was the one to get, but I picked up SitB way later and was just kind of like "holy shit". I don't know which I like more really. That anthemic sound and their sing-along style is done so well on some tracks, but they also work well because they're alongside tracks that aren't like that. It doesn't get stale at all, but still tracks like point/counterpoint are just undeniably fun as hell. It's true of Keasbey Nights as well.

So yeah, saw these dudes last night and it was one of the most fun shows I've ever been to. Was jumping around and singing along from start to finish (except the new stuff I didn't know, which I was still jumping around to). Everyone there was having a great ass time you could tell too, which was just awesome all around. Encore of point/counterpoint medleyed with keasbey nights followed by the big sleep was just incredible.
