The first 4 certainly shouldn't be. Bio is fine. Vul can be 40-ish or something. Volta maybe. Medulla maybe. This can probably be removed from existence, I keep forgetting it was released anyway.
Any point in reading the last few pages or was it just Colton things?

Fossora certainly seems more potentially interesting than this snooze-fest, at least it managed to grab my attention even though some of what it was doing didn't result in an entirely positive experience.
Either way, I'd petition for Johnny to definitely not review it...
is it gonna be one of yours Dew?

@demon let's just cut out the middleman and petition sowing to review it instead I want to see what adjectives he uses for it

cards on the table I did not fully process ur above comment before posting and intended no shade : ((((
Genuinely looking forward to whatever gets written on this and would cherish the opportunity to read a review of yours for an artist I'm actually familiar with

I've heard it twice now and I think it's fine (prob a 2.5), I'm having a hard time connecting to anything on it. The closer was kind of nice, and I like Mycelia and Trolla-Gabba - they seem like actual instances of creative energy, but ultimately appetizers that weren't fully fleshed out into something greater. Mycelia in particular has this problem of developing into a pretty gorgeous melody towards its midpoint that quickly devolves back into nothingness. Trolla Gabba sounds like something that could be featured in a Silent Hill game, def one of the more interesting tracks on the album, but too much of the rest feels cut from the same cloth.

Gabba is fine, Mycelia was horrible imo
faves are probably Atopos, Freefall and the T/T
Ovule rubbed me up the wrong way
Most of the rest was varying degrees of passable / whatever really, but I’m only 2 comprehensive spins deep thus far

Mycelia definitely rips off a song from the Super Metroid soundtrack but I'm not sure if anyone will notice it

Trolla Gabba was my highlight also tbh, one of the only times my ears pricked up first listen - sounds like the sort of spooky shit you’d find on Jarboe’s ‘Sacrificial Cake’ (also another album obsessed with trolls)

It's a good album, not a great one, on par with UTOPIA and BIOPHILIA imo. All three of them share the same sort of aimless / amorphous quality that sound (to my ears) more like a lack of focus than freedom of expression. Not sure the 'train of conscious thought' approach works in lockstep with Bjork's strengths as a vocalist and/or songwriter. She's got enough pure talent that even her weakest efforts are digestible and, at the very least, interesting, but she's not giving us much to latch onto, here, and she's not someone who totally flourishes under shaplelessness. 'Atopos' and 'Ovule' are still my favorites. Thought 'Victimhood', 'Allow', and 'Freefall' were great as well.

Biophilia fucking smashes Fossora. Calling it on par with this I think is acceptable tho. Definitely aimless, can't fault that criticism whatsoever (and I can accept it for a handful of tracks on Bio tbf)

BIOPHOLIA is her most inconsistent to me. The highs are high but the lows are quite low. All said, ‘Thunderbolt’ is head and shoulders above any track on FOSSORA.
