Fucking hell. Everything these guys have made so far has been solid, what happened here? The singles weren't very exciting but I was hoping for the best.

Was anything after Dopethrone even worth checking out?

I really dug Witchcult Today and Black Masses as well.

First listen of this feels flat and pretty lifeless, loved pretty much everything these guys have done but this feels like something is missing. I’ll give it a few more spins and see if anything else comes of it but really underwellming thus far.

I quite enjoyed the album. Some really good riffs. Nothing fantastic, but I was entertained throughout.

the two that come after are generally seen as not in the same ballpark at all, and i agree. i think theyre pretty boring. however Witchcult Today seems universally liked, and i personally think Black Masses is a great album.

I dont think they made it clear enough that they like black sabbath.

I like the album. It's very close to Sabbath and they've definitely done better before, but it's still decent. The guitar work is awesome.

don't get the hate here. obviously they're not reinventing the wheel at this point but this is still enjoyable as hell

I am hating how the drums sound here, it's like they forgot to unmute everything but the overheads. Idk, not feeeling it.

I’ve persisted with this and it haa gotten a lot better the more i’ve listened, i actually think if you just skip the openning song the rest of the album is pretty good.

i think the production is perfect for what they're trying to accomplish (basically an acid/horror soaked Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in all it's cocaine-fueled excess). like most EW albums, should not be consumed sober.

Idunno, I don't have a problem with the grooves on here.
To each its own, I suppose.
