I love his vocals too. The music could be less genereic though.

I got this album a while back, but never listened to it. It is really growing on me now and it is much better than SID, in my opinion.

There are at least 4 other songs that are better, imo. You need to get this.

I may give this a 4 soon for being so catchy.

Wow, this album is getting old quite fast for me, still some great songs but I've moved my rating down, definitely not a 4.5

I thought I'd have to think of the right words to express myself, but someone had already done it on page one: Soilwork at least has transition, this is pure crap. All of the chorus vocals sound the same in every song, the leads are pathetic and the rythm is a cliche. This has been one of the worst albums I've ever listened to.

Don't know what happened with this album, nowhere as solid as Symmetric. I agree Retaliator is the best track here, followed by maybe Mind Machine and The Illusionist. Have faith that the new album will be a lot better.

Holographic Universe slays this, a bunch of the shorter songs seem like filler to me (the title track, Abstracted)
But why the hell did Carved in Stone not make the cut to be a regular cd track? Imo that's the best song other than The Kaleidoscopic God.

man, am I the only one that really loves this. "The Illusionist" is amazing, along with "The Kaleidoscopic God". Really not one song I don't like

Well i've only listened to this twice (im in my third listen now) but in Holographic
Universe, it seems they really pumped the quality up.
That being said, The Illusionist, Calculate the Apocalypse, Dreaming 24/7,
Kaleidoscopic God, and Carved in Stone own pretty hard. This Message Edited On 06.29.08

Album is a disappointment. The only song I really, really like is "Slaves To The Subliminal". I haven't listened the full album in one sitting in over a year and a half, I think.

Upped to a 4, liking it more than did my first couple listens. 5 tracks I listed above are still my favorites.

I like the new album better, but this isn't bad.

Okay, so Holographic Universe is definitely still better but it doesnt slay this as I originally though. The is a pretty amazing album, but it doesnt have as many highlights as HU. Calculate the Apocalypse is my new favorite, and the chorus of The Illusionist is one of the catchiest moments melodic death metal has seen imo.

Another band I've been digging a lot lately. Another band my friend showed me at work.
