I actually didn't ask this time, nor was I planning on it. Still appreciate it anyways :-)

it's good, different to all previous albums but still evanescence. a little more electronic elements, but nothing embarrassing or overwrought

I don't get it . Is this an Amy Lee album or an Evanescence album ? Where are the guitars and drums ? Don't relay get it . Didn't listen to the entire album yet .

Synthesis version is better:

Never Go Back

Lost In Paradise

Original version is better:

Bring Me To Life

Lacrymosa

Imaginary

Lithium

Your Star

My Immortal

Both versions are about the same in quality:

My Heart is Broken

The End of the Dream

Secret Door

It seems like the re-composition only really worked on the songs from their self-titled album, which kind of sucked because of Amy Lee's extreme oversinging.

The new album doesn't really do anything for the Fallen and The Open Door songs. I don't even know why "My Immortal" is on there because it didn't have that much rock instrumentation to begin with. And I'm (jokingly) surprised that "Whisper" isn't on there, considering how many pre-Fallen versions of it are floating around.

I like "Tourniquet" and love their S/T album. Should I bother with this?

I dunno ballz, I'd never admit to myself being influenced by linkin park, evanescence or system of a down. These are just bands i listened to as a kid, doesn't mean they influence you dammit

sounds like a lot of effort put into an easy nostalgia cash grab that only appeals to their original fans.
