Nothing about this is cool, though.

nah that song and a couple of others are good actually, but overall that was a very boring first listen, which will probably also be my last. I AIN'T GOT TIIIIIIIME to let taylor swift songs grow on me, they usually grab me at first or don't at all. gotta get on that new Godflesh now.

Fuck Taylor Swift. She’s fucking boring and no one cares anymore.

as indicated by her 1.2 million first week sales

Yeah obviously lots of people care. This wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but still wasn't a fan. I will say the second half is much better than the first.

Allow me to rephrase my statement;
Anyone with any sense doesn’t care anymore.
I’m sorry but she’s squandered any potential for credibility or respect by writing countless songs about ex-boyfriends and relationships no one cares about.
Don’t get me wrong; she’s got a hell of a voice and a personality people like, but she’s written herself into a pretty dull corner. I don’t hate her, she’s just boring.

I would care more if she stopped making the half the appeal of this album based on Taylor Swift the persona and instead just wrote songs as good as the highlights from 1989.

Still, Dancing with Our Hands Tied, Getaway Car, and New Year's Day are especially nice.
|
| |
Exactly.
She’s not terrible. She’s just a product of her own image and past.
This is why I haven’t just trolled the ratings and deliberately 1.0’d this album.

writing countless songs about ex-boyfriends and relationships no one cares about. literally 1000s of people have cared about her relationships and will continue to do so. how do you get this wrong two times in a row?
|
| |
That’s a depressing truth you have highlighted my friend.

literally 1000s of people have cared about her relationships and will continue to do so. how do you get this wrong two times in a row?
doesn't make it worthwhile material

literally 1000s of the record buying public
