So many people on this site are constantly wetting their pants over the most homogeneous metal albums. I like at least a little bit of variety in my metal

that isn't the case though, there are a lot of subtle differences in repeated movements and shifts in atmosphere. it's just not as obvious because of the way they used restraint. I think it's brilliantly handled.

I'd like it more if the changes weren't so subtle that they're barely audible. Not a bad album to throw on to do chores to or something, but fuck actively listening to something this tedious
