The review is well written and enjoyable to read but I just wish there was a little more analysis on some of the individual songs. I get that it’d be hard to do that effectively when everything about the record provokes such an intense dislike.

Boney, what I'm getting here in ~hot take valley~ is that people are upset that Doof made an entirely reactionary review that is a ~lukewarm take~ at best and apparently forgot that perhaps it is a 0.5 because he found absolutely nothing to enjoy about and deemed it such a low rating as a result. For the amount of reactionary one-listen 5s (like are we going to ignore the abundance of Science Fiction/Damn reviews that ultimately were masturbatory pieces of writing that served zero purpose) that the userbase posts on a regular basis, what's the problem with there being one so negative for once?

i haven't listened to the album so i can't judge. that said, when i heard 'wow' last year i honestly thought it was the worst song i'd ever heard. it sounds like frat rap from 2011 with better production

Is it me or are you angry that beck made sea change for the 3rd time?, that would be so bizarre. (I didn't listen the album yet, but that's my presumption)
