BOCC is so damn boring

Didn’t Know What I Was In For and Dylan Thomas are better than anything on here. I stand by my hot take that this has more obvious low points than BOCC

I will never understand why people pick out "Dylan Thomas" on BOCC, that's one of the least memorable songs there.
In any case I am a bit worried about a new Phoebe solo album because the side projects she's been involved with have been increasingly weaker than this.

"Dylan Thomas" has the best hooks on BOCC as far as I'm concerned :/
Though I personally may be slightly biased because Dylan Thomas was one of my two namesakes, along with Bob Dylan :D

Dylan Thomas least memorable?

I'd agree a bit Boney but I think her sound got watered down by others a bit, I think her sounds are still gonna be just as alluring

Dylan Thomas is awesome. It’s rather formulaic but that’s fine since it’s SO catchy

This is way better than BOCC

I should maybe clarify a bit; almost everything on BOCC was patently unmemorable for me, so I guess "Dylan Thomas" was fairly middle of the pack in that sense.

I'm Wide Awake is one of my favorite albums ever, but everything else I've heard from him has been hit or miss

It’s a perplexing list for sure but yeah that song deserves a spot (though I prefer “Scott Street”.

Wow that pitchfork list was terrible
Was there one punk band featured besides Japandroids? 90 percent of the list is the same genre.. i know it’s Pitchfork but still lol

I'm all for a bit of poptimism but what you have to realize is that since Pitchfork was bought out by Conde Nast and especially since Ryan Schreiber left it's basically an entirely new organization - they're gonna be behind a paywall soon too.

also Nadia Reid’s Richard destroys most of these

Yeah that list is embarrassing. P4K backed themselves into a corner as soon as they began adhering to the idea/agenda that any vaguely 'woke' pop is amazing.
And I love me some political/experimental pop, but The 1975 at #16? Rihanna at #15? Beyonce, Robyn, and Grimes occupying #4-#2? Holy yikes. A lot of music branching tons of styles over the last 10 years, but as Atari said, their list is extremely homogeneous.
