Truly couldnt do anything beyond On Letting Go and Juturna. You could really feel the soul in those two albums. The wailing guitars with Anthony green being the siren at the top. The rest is just filler in comparison IMO. New album seems more promising.

Yeah, check it harder. Stay and Rites of Investiture rip and remind me more of the olden days.

Never got the hype with this band. Everything they put out is just.... I dunno. It doesn't do much for me

Understandable. This is the first album I heard by them and I can see why some might find if empty. I quiet enjoyed this however, the whole vibe of this album is just soothing.

Now that Sowing loves Circa, maybe he'll do some retrospective reviews by release year or in reverse order, to see their progression / band choices. Could be highly interesting.

I liked Violent Waves and Descensus well enough, but this is so much better. The last couple of tracks in particular are astounding.

Didn't really love Decensus. Prepared to give this one a shot but man-oh-man is it THAT good?

Danred I agree hard. The last 2 tracks are up there with the best in their career.

VaxXi, catchy Circa started and ended with BSN and that’s not even a bad thing.

Anthony Green sounds like Stevie Nicks.

I totally agree with Identity, there were some songs after BSN that were catchy, but not the album as a whole. Anthony Green totally has still got it, did anyone enjoy "Pixie Queen", or the new Saosin album? Those were pretty damn catchy.

New Saosin was cool, about half the tracks were really good, the other half were just there, but those songs that were good were REALLY good.

I didn't care for new Saosin at all, but I honestly didn't give it much of a chance. Haven't jammed Pixie Queen, but I've heard good things about it. I mostly liked Avalon and wasn't big on the two that followed.

Now onto Juturna. Listen to that shit 1,000 times in a row, Sowing. And be patient for the bonus track cause it's well worth it.

I want to give BSN time to sink in, and perhaps re-listen to The Amulet a few more times as well, but I'll make Juturna my next stop.

Try to go into with fresh ears, I'm not entirely sure what it's like to hear all their other albums and THEN Juturna. Might not have the same effect as it did when it was released, or the first Circa album someone hears.
