This is probably objectively the better album, but when BSN came out, that's when I learned to love Circa, and I memorized that thing front-to-back and have lots of nostalgia attached, so it sits at #1 for me.

Tunnel Vision is probably my favorite of theirs though

i mean even objectively blue sky noise has stronger and more consistent songwriting while also having much more variety than this and better highs

Do "better highs" really matter when there's no such thing as a "low" for Circa?

You're all wrong anyway. The Amulet is tied for their best record but that tie is with On letting Go.

they don’t have “bad” songs as much as they do just have a few that blend together a lot which this suffers from a fair bit

I can see that. But for me, it's a bunch of amazing shit blending together. Juturna and On Letting Go are the same way. If you need lots of variety, Blue Sky Noise is definitely the way to go. I certainly wouldn't want to live in a world without Spirit Of The Stairwell or Fever Dreams.

Well, Anthony just tweeted that they are already recording some new songs, so fingers crossed and we'll get something new this year.

On Letting Go is their best, most consistent. definitive Circa record

Every album they've made is fucking awesome. Any word on a release date for the next one? I would imagine it's sometime later this year?

Yeah, this just continued to grow. As others have said all Circa is good, but damn this is their best for me.

Yeah this feels more maturely produced even if the songwriting isn't as diverse.
